Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial

Dr. Meg and Nurse Cali
Our family and some friends had the chance to visit the Bombing Memorial in Oklahoma City. It was amazing. At the end of the museum, the kids could learn about and dress up as doctors, police officers, fire fighters, and emts.

Outside the museum is a wall of tiles that children from all over decorated to tell the people of Oklahoma City how sorry they were. There are also large chalkboards for "guests" to color on.
Meg and Cali were fascinated by all of the messages drawn by kids. It really broke your heart to see that the bombing affected people all over the country.

This museum was fascinating. You got to take a tour and relive the day the bombing happened. It is so sad to know that something this tragic could happen to so many innocent people. I was twelve when this happened and forgot all about it. I was too intrigued inside the museum and forgot to take pictures. If any of you are in OKC, this is a must-see.
