Oh give me a home. Where the buffalo roam....We had the opportunity to go with some friends to the Witchita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. It is about 15-20 minutes from the base. We were thinking it was going to be a lot like "Bear World" in Rexburg. When we got there we found that it was more like Yellowstone National Park. They have places to go hiking, fishing, lots if wild animals, museums, ponds, etc. I think this is going to be a place where we spend many of our weekends or family home evenings.

You should see if they have a junior ranger program--your girls can fill out these fun little booklets and earn a junior ranger badge or patch. My boys love doing the junior ranger program.
